Hand-Arm Vibration Training for Operators

This session is aimed at employees who use vibrating equipment and covers the following areas:

• Understanding hand-arm vibration
• Potential sources of hand-arm vibration
• Specific risk factors
• Recognition of symptoms and signs of injury
• Ways to minimise risk
• Correct use of equipment
• Changes to work practices
• Maintenance of equipment and reporting defects
• Ways to maintain good blood circulation
• Feedback to foreman/management of any concerns
• Health surveillance
• Complete Hire Services Hand-Arm Vibration Management Programme and points system (if your company uses our programme)

The training lasts for three hours and can take place in our training room at Complete Hire Services or we can come to your place of work to deliver the session.  Training can be customised to your company needs and requirements.

The cost per person is available on request and includes refreshments, an information pack and certificate of attendance.

A minimum number of five delegates is required to run an operators course.  If you do not have the minimum number for a training session personalised to your company requirement, you could attend one of our open training sessions running throughout the year.
